Martinsville Mahem
Two heads are better than one and 22 feet are better than twenty, but Tunstall knows the feeling of playing with only 10 girls and, although it isn't a good one, the Trojans never back down from a fight, even when greatly out numbered. This Tuesday night at Martinsville field at 5:30 pm, Tunstall will again meet the Bulldogs and try with all their "10 person strength" to silence their bark! No one knows what could happen; a surprise cornerkick, an unmarked direct kick, even a foul inside the Bulldogs penalty box; you should never under estimate the Trojans. Because there are no Greek horses in this district!!!

I have read all of your blogs on THS Girls Soccer. They are really good. Your thoughts and words have captured the very essence of what Tunstall Soccer should be for every young lady that has demonstrated the courage to take to the pitch and wear the Trojan colors. I can tell by your words that your team has had to face more than it's share of daunting challenges. Challenges it has met with courage and perseverance. These are life lessons that will stay with you your whole life. Keep fighting the good fight. When every single player on your team embraces your team ideals, committment and work ethic, your team will surely win the District. Always remember the Champion's Creed:
"I am not judged by the number of times that I fail, but by the number of times I fail, and can keep trying." Good Luck!

Well...I am overwhelmed by your words of praise and support. Thank you for reading my posts and sharing the beat of our Trojan heart. Your gracious comment has reinvigorated my desire to not only write about my team, but also to play more excellent soccer. Thank You and please continue to read.
Dear Eaglehunter,
I must admit that I misquoted The Champions Creed. Of course, I'm sure that you got the general thought behind the more condensed version. Here is the exact quote. It happens to be one of my favorites, and it can be applied to many aspects of one's life.
"I AM NOT JUDGED BY THE NUMBER OF TIMES I FAIL, BUT BY THE NUMBER OF TIMES I SUCCEED. AND THE NUMBER OF TIMES I SUCCEED IS IN DIRECT PROPORTION TO THE NUMBER OF TIMES I CAN FAIL AND KEEP TRYING."
Continued Luck to you and your team.
Yeah I like the shorter form best, I'm not to good with proportions.
So, I'm very curious, are you involved in our soccer district or just a fan of the sport and stumbled upon my page?
Yes
OK...you can stay anonymous.
